@LewEG99 that suggests your fitbit is not connected to your account so this process will not work. Your best option is to contact customer support via contact.fitbit.com as your fitbit may need a factory reset depending on which model you have.

Nevermind. I just submitted for a reimbursement due to recall. Sucks because I loved the square shape of the Ionic over the newer rounded corner versions.
I never found it the Device Lock option on my phone app. Not finding an online solution, I uninstalled and re-installed the app hoping there was some error that a reinstall would fix. Instead, the phone app in now asking for the watch pairing code and I the watch still have the "Unlock with your phone" message.
