Ionic receiving several notifications at once

My Ionic will go through a process (usually once or twice a month) whereby it repeatedly vibrates like its receiving notifications. Sometimes it will report up to 20 new notifications (usually around 2 AM). The problem is, they are all notifications that I had already gotten that day. For example, during this most recent incident, my Ionic vibrated approximately 8 times, all of which were notifications from my Ring App notifying me that there were people at my door. All of these notifications from Ring were notifications from earlier in the day (which I received during the day as well). And before you suggest it: Yes, I've deleted and re-installed on numerous occasions. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't. But even when it does work, it's temporary. I would like a permanent solution.

To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you currently using? Also, when was the first time you experienced this? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Fitbit are correctly configured and to try some troubleshooting steps.
