Ionic recording distance and time as zero!

Hello,

 

I have recently recorded a ride, when I stopped the watch it displayed zero for distance and 4s for time. This is also displayed in the app and on strava. However, it did record the route correctly.

I can export the tcx file and load it into a third part programme and see that I rode ~16km.

This has happened twice now.

 

Any ideas?

have u ever shut off the unit to rest u should do this every few days or so for 5-20 minutes

Really?

 

As it happens it was a replacement which I have only had it for two weeks when my previous one broke. I never 'rested' my previous watch though.
