Ionic refuses to start

I set my Ionic to charge two days ago. This morning, I removed it from the charger and discovered that it refuses to start up. It is completely black. I have short and long pressing the power button but to no avail. Inserting the charger again yields nothing... nada...

 

Please help.

Try restarting it several times. Let us know if that fixes it

Wow, that page was zero helpful... I wonder how I am supposed to re-start a device that does not start. Is there a secret button combination?

She forgot to mention, I think, that you have to select your device on the page, to see the instructions of how to start it with the buttons of the watch

I have a Fitbit Ionic since January 2018. It’s my 4th now, during my warranty of 2 years. I hope this one lasts much longer. Updates are dangerous!

Ok, thanks.

I did as the instructions say: held the Back button and the lower of the two right buttons for 10+ seconds. Nothing. I tried with the Back button + upper right button, still nothing.

 

It's dead. Not that old either 😞
