Ionic resting heart rate accuracy issue

I had to factory reset my iconic last week because it kept restarting every couple of minutes. Since then my resting heart rate has stayed at 70 beats per minute. As I am typing this my heart rate on my iconic is 63. 

This iconic is under a year old and I'm getting very disappointed in fitbit latley with their problems with updates and syncing issues. I did not spend $200 dollars 6 months ago to be having this problem.  Any solutions to getting my iconic resting heart rate fixed ?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. Heart-rate tracking can be affected by several factors including air temperature and device location on your arm. For more information about this, please check our help articles:

 

 

However, if your heart-rate tracker seems inaccurate after taking the recommendations into account, please reply with answers to the following questions so I can further investigate:

 

  1. What were you doing when you noticed the problem? If you were exercising, specifically what types of exercise?
  2. Were you wearing the Fitbit device particularly tight or loose?
  3. What was the position of the Fitbit device on your wrist?
