I just did a 4.44 mile run in negative temps in 48 min. Pretty good for me. I was using the ionic running app to track it but the app only logged 2.5 miles, which is way below what I ran! The app was operating the entire time, it didnt pause or shut off. It got the time of the run correct, but said my pace was 19 min a mile which is way off, absolutely not correct, also the calories seemed way too high for 2.5 miles but about right for 4.44 (405). So it really messed up my mileage and pace. Anyone know why or how to fix it?? FYI, the ionic was under my clothing layers and not exposed to the negative temps.

@Minkah, since the Ionic was under your clothes, it probably was unable to use GPS to record the run. If that is the case, it had you use your stride length & number of steps to calculate the distance. Have you checked your profile settings for Run Stride Length to verify it is set correctly?

Hi @USAF-Larry. Thanks but my settings are correct. I've taken this run before and ionic has not messed it up until today. Also, I can't use the gps bc it interferes with the bluetooth signal and my music skips (I posted about that in another thread). So I've been using the app without gps which has worked fine until today. I find it odd tho that the gps would be blocked by a few layers of clothes, but since it already has proven to be a problem bc it jams the bluetooth I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Anyother ideas? Sadly the issues I'm having with ionic are really stacking up.
