Ionic's battery draining

I've had the ionic for 1.5 years with no issues, just this week its prone to not keeping a charge. will plug in wall and reach 100%, but then charge lasts less than 12 hrs before completely shutting down. still connects to phone, have tried hard re-set.  any ideas? will it be replaced if defective? love the watch and need to keep tracking!
