Water logging units change

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My water consumption isn't syncing correctly between ionic and the dashboard. Sometimes I get random quantities logged which bear no resemblance to what I input.

Today my dashboard shows

14786.8 ml

29573.5 ml

29573.5 ml

26616.2 ml

I actually have only input 1 reading of 1000 ml

Hello Mv1979,

I have also gotten strangely high numbers on my ionic when the app
represents the correct number.

@Mv1979 @AyushModi @jivanmsr Thanks for calling this out. It is odd that your Ionic is showing logged totals that are much higher than what you input. I will be sure to forward this feedback to our team as they work on this issue.

In the meantime, could you confirm if the numbers are still inflated on your Ionic after force quitting the app and re-syncing? Please let me know.

Again, I appreciate everyone's patience on this. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions!

@MattFitbit@I occasionally get this. I log on my Fitbit  in ml but when it comes up with a ridiculous high amount I think it thinks its logging another unit. If I log 500ml I occasionally get 14786ml which is 500fl oz converted into ml. I think this is where the issue lies.

@jst1986 Thanks for the quick reply. That makes sense. I appreciate the clarification.

Since your reply and restarting the app any values logged on the ionic are
now not syncing to the dashboard.

I have the same issue but the other direction.  It appears the ounces and milliliters are swapped on the Ionic.  I logged 29 oz and it posted .98 to my dashboard.  When you do a conversion from ml to oz, 29 ml is .98 oz.  I don't know if this is a question of the ionic displaying incorrectly or if it's swapped somewhere deeper in the programming.
