The battery on my Ionic just went from 50% to 9%. Very quickly. How does that happen?

@eandre Mine has been doing the same thing. I just took it off the charger, 100% battery, sitting at my desk, not even moving, in 8 minutes its at 92%. Just went to check again and now the screen is acting up. I did all the tips to lessen the battery usage and it's still happening. It's so sad how FitBit treats their customers. And then the frustrating part is all these copy and pasted emails they send you, it's an insult!
Good luck I think mine just died in my hands.

This is happening to me, as well - just started on Monday!
All of a sudden the battery started draining extremely quickly - like a percentage every couple minutes. (Normally my battery lasts about 4 days.)
I have tried totally charging, restarting, etc. to no avail. I just tried turning off, and when I went to turn back on, it won't even restart. I tried contacting them, they had me do a battery drainage test, confirmed it was in fact draining too quickly (pretty obvious to me as it died within 4-5 hours vs 4 days), and offered me 25% off a new device (I've had it 2 years). I was so sad since I've been a loyal fitbit customer since 2013, owning probably a half dozen devices and buying several as gifts, not to mention recommending them to all my clients. 25% off is horrible since this device can be purchased on Amazon for 25% off retail all the time.
Any success on yours so far?

@SilviaFitbit Can they bring Ionic's back from the dead? mine eventually died. So no you can't create a case on my behalf. Don't you see the bigger issue here? Unbelievable!

@sarahljelinek mine just SH(fIT) the bed! It seems like its on but its totally dead. Not even reacting to a restart now. I am very sad too as I've been through a few devices and always kept strong with Fitbit but I'm giving up and making the switch to Garmin. Done with FitBit all together. Lack of respect and loyalty to dedicated customers.
Good luck

Charged mine last night, was on 100 percent. Been for a run this morning and down to 42 percent already.
also having issues with Strava not syncing with Fitbit any more. after several attempts back and to with support I’m getting nowhere.
Years as a Fitbit customer but ready to move on. Too many issues!
