I received an Ionic as a gift. I used to have a charge 2 but the screen cracked, fitbit replaced it and then the replacements screen cracked. I wanted the ionic because it was supposed to habe a very durable screen. Within 1 week I have a deep gouge in the glass face. I'm very frustrated. Within 1 week! Light use. Not okay. Don't advertise it as handing durable glass when out doesn't. Help me fitbit.

A screen saver would probably have stopped this happening (and probably the cracked screens on the Charge). If you gets some wet installation screen protectors, they should hide or reduce the visibility of the scratch. I use IQ Shields and they are very easy to install and very durable.

Before I started wearing my ionic I purchased some wet install screen protectors and a silicone ? protector that surrounds the actual watch. I have no scratches on the watch and whilst I am not deliberately rough with the watch I am by no means over protective of it either. Those protectors and watch surround cost $16 all up and were a very prudent investment.
Previousy I wore a Charge 2 for 16 months, which was only taken off when I had a shower, it had no screen protector on it and it was scratch and chip free when I sold it after I purchased my Ionic - again I was not overly protective of it. So obviously the glass screen is reasonably tough.
