I've noticed that the battery performance on my Ionic is less good than it used to be, and I've recently realised why. Though I have the Ionic set to wake only on button press, it wakes much more often than that. In particular, it wakes any time I tap the screen or, I think, any time the screen *thinks* it's been tapped.
Put it to one side and leave it alone, and it doesn't light up. Pick it up by the strap, or put it on my wrist, it instantly starts lighting up.
Does anyone know of an option to stop the screen activating in this way? I don't seem to have the option to disable Quick View, which has been mentioned in similar topics.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @rfenwick.
Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I recommend confirming if your Screen Wake setting is set to Manual by following the steps at How do I adjust screen wake settings? I also recommend restarting your watch: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
