Hi,
I've recently noticed the sensor on the back of my Ionic going more and more cloudy / covered in a white residue. I've cleaned the Ionic in line with the cleaning instructions and haven't used anything abrasive on it. Has anyone had this, or can anyone from Fitbit comment?
Best AnswerThanks Rich, I've tried scrubbing with a toothbrush, but it doesn't shift it. SO if anyone has any suggestions on other things to try that wont affect the warranty please shout. Thanks.
Best AnswerI also have the same thing happening to the back of mine. Would love to know how to get rid of it.
Best AnswerHas anyone tried the toothpick solution? Works for me every time.

one cruise ship at a time!I used a mild cleaning agent on a wet microfiber cloth, e.g. a dish detergent. Gently rubbed the sensor area with it, let it react for one minute and then clened it off with sufficient water and wet cloth. Worked like a charm and cleaned the sensor efficiently.

Best AnswerHas anyone come up with a good solution for this yet? mine looks much like the picture posted. Cleaning with dish soap did not work for me.
Best AnswerIf a toothpick takes it ofg, then it is something that has coated and dried. It might be soap or maybe a lotion.
Best AnswerA toothpick did not remove it; it is still there.
Any other ideas?
I wish fitbit had chosen to use glass instead of whatever plastic they put on the back.
Best AnswerI have the same cloudiness. It was suntan lotion or big spray. As I am in Vietnam. Can not remove it. It is effective corroded plastic so I think it cannot be removed. So not it says I have walked 0miles even tough I know I have walked about 5miles.
Best AnswerI have the same issue, but also have a pretty bad rash. Any tips how to remove this. Tried to soap dish and did not nothing. I feel like the film causes the rash
