Ionic sensor is only red not green

I woke up to my ionic’s being red and I am very confused why this is happening I can’t seem to find anything on it which makes it seems it does not happen often but it does not go away after I restart it and charge it.

Hi @Tylerpat, welcome to the community.

This is completely normal and something my Ionic, Versa and Charge 3 all do. I assume you notice it after you wake up in the morning? The device uses this red Led during sleep to better track your sleep and stages. If you check again a few minutes after you've got up and moved around it should have gone off?

That’s what I thought but it has been on all day long with just the red.

That's strange. Is it still reading your HR correctly and giving you a value?

I would maybe try turning it off completely if you haven't already done so. The last resort would be a factory reset, but you want to avoid that if you can.

Ya now it ended up dying for good won’t turn back on apparently the red light means it’s gonna stop working.
