I have a blank screen on my Fitbit with a coloured border. It says it’s not connected to the wifi and it won’t charge, any ideas?? I can’t do a factory reset as it says that the ionic is not connected, I’ve tried a restart and nothing!! I presume it has finally died!!

Let the battery fully drain - with the hope of an electronic/logic reset.
Unfortunately though it seems fairly terminal. Nothing to loose.
You have done the 3 button reset procedure?
