Hello,
I purchased a Fitbit Ionic: Adidas Edition approximately one year ago. Everything was working fantastic until about a month or so ago, or around 2 firmware updates ago. All of a sudden, instead of the usual 10%-20% drain per day, it started draining at a rate of about 25%-30% every 8 hours (75%-90% in a day). I can still keep it functioning by charging it before work, after work, and before bed. However, that is a bit frustrating, as it takes a good 30-45 minutes to recharge that 25%-30%. The battery drained 23% as I slept last night.
I have tried changing the clock face, as suggested, which is now frozen stuck in an infinite loop saying "the clock face could not be installed." (I attempted to install the top staff pick clock face - "Clean Cut" by John Boy Software). Since it is now stuck in a loop trying to install that clock face, I cannot attempt to switch to another.
I thought perhaps the battery was draining because the Ionic had lost its WIFI connection and was continuously searching for the network. When I attempt to open the WIFI settings, it repeatedly gives me the error "Something went wrong when attempting to open the WIFI settings." I completely disconnected the Ionic from the phone, reset the Ionic, and restarted the phone. I connected the Ionic back to the phone successfully (which requires it to connect to a WIFI network), but when I attempt to open the WIFI settings, I still get that same error.
Even after the reset and repairing, the battery continues to drain at a rate of about 25%-30% every 8 hours.

Hi Silvia,
Thank you. I will look for their email.
I did manage to change the clock face to the new SpO2 one that was released with the new firmware update. However, the battery continued to drain at the same rate.

I just installed the spO2 clock face a couple of days ago. I thought it was my fault for not fully charging, but is draining in 12 hours to zero and used to last 3-5 days. Help!!!!

Things I would try in order, checking battery life before moving to the next suggestion.
1. Restart the Ionic.
2. Uninstall the SP02 clock..
3. Reset the device.
