Ionic stop syncing

I notice 2 days ago my 18 months old ionic stop syncing. I rebooted the iPhone and the ionic multiple time no success. I have done the Bluetooth on iPhone and Ionic. Search this site for help for anything to get it to sync again. I followed the procedure that Fit bit posted on this forum and now my ionic is dead and can't see anything can't charge...My fit bit is dead because of all this. Now, what can be done from loosing a 360.00 watch that i paid and only 18 months old and no working anymore. I blame Fit Bit for this fix and i want a replacement and not a 40% discount because this watch was perfect in good shape. I want an answer on this...since i read the threads i am not the only one having this issue. What is Fit Bit doing for this ?

So far I am on my 2nd Ionic (No 3, replacement, is now on the way) - this will not keep time, connect to GPS or sync on demand.  It does sync every now and again and so FitBit have been telling me there is 'no issue'.

I have a watch that will not keep accurate time.  A tracker that will not track - but FitBit said that is 'not a problem'.....until today when the killed it totally by trying to reset it !

I had 4 Surge trackers that all went wrong before I was 'upgraded' to an Ionic...

In my experience FitBit trackers do not work.  They are unreliable....

Now the 'support' team refuse to give a refund, I am out of the refund period.  They will replace this tracker AGAIN and I am sure the problem will be back in a few months....

Do FitBit try to make reliable trackers or do them simply get low cost, unreliable trackers that get binned & replaced, time and again... If these trackers did cost a reasonable amount to make Fitbit would want them back and they would not be able to send out 4 x SURGE & 3 x IONIC for one fee plus an upgrade !!

I feel that my Ionic turned out to be a dud after all of this fiasco and still have hours on end to spend online and on the phone and not even sure that you will get 40% discount or 25%...Still lots of uncertainty of this Ionic watch. The reliability and trust ability of Fitbit to own their own mistake is quite close to slim to none.

My Ionic was working very well prior all this issues that I lost my watch to work within 30 mins from working without syncing to Dead watch...Why should we pay for this issue. I am not the creator nor the programmer of that Watch.

FITBIT OWN IT, REPLACE IT, FIX IT...!!!! People are just getting more frustrated and more thread is about the same issue....so why would it not be Fitbit responsibility??? I have to many concerns about this!!!

Congratulations!!!  Fitbit is doing very well to send so many customers to Apple watch. I might just do that because I know with Apple there is a problem they don't blame on the problem to the client but more Apple take it in strives  and stand by their product.  Intelligent support customer service as well. and the Apple watch does have the same capabilities as the Ionic.

As predicted...... Here we go AGAIN.  Replacement Ionic stopped syncing after 4 months.  Same problems, same useless solutions offered.  These trackers are not fit for purpose.....

Come on FitBit sort out your unreliable, useless products....
