Today my Ionic stopped syncing with the FitBit app on my iPhone. Bluetooth is on and it was connected to Bluetooth according to the phone settings page, but the Fitbit app would not sync. It would start the cycle and the spinning icon, but then just stop and not update any info. the watch itself appears to be working fine. I just cannot connect to the Fitbit app. I have worked through all the steps in the support pages and none have worked. My iPhone is updated to the to the latest iOS release. I had Bluetooth forget the Ionic. I deleted the Ionic from the Fitbit app. I attempted to reinstall the Ionic through the Fitbit app and it kept reporting "Connecting to Tracker" but it never did. I deleted the app and reinstalled it and attempted to reinstall the Ionic. Again, it reached the "Connecting to Tracker" page, but after 15 minutes it was still there. Not sure what my options are. Very frustrating. Has worked fine for the past two months till today.

I just purchased the iconic fitbit, I've had it for 2 weeks and it won't sync then I have to shutdown the watch and my Samsung Note as well, it will work for several hours then without notice stop again, its this a factory issue, just mine or is will this keep happening always, honestly it is very frustrating to be doing this again and again and again and again, for the price you pay I was hoping to get a reliable more efficient fitbit watch, please advise, thank you

I've had my Ionic for just over a year and it's not synced for more than 4 days now. This is the first time it's quit like this. All the steps outlined throughout this post I've tried, among other things. My laptop, desktop and phone all have the app now and it's not them, it's either the app or the watch itself.
Is there some issue with the app all of a sudden, or should I assume it's the actual watch? I'm really bummed as I love this thing..

This what I did and it works now.
Shutdown ionic watch - “Settings”, “About”, “Shutdown”
On the Ionic app on your device:
Tap the watch in upper left corner, scroll down to “Remove this Ionic”
Go to Bluetooth on your device - remove Ionic “Forget this Device
Turn off device and restart
Restart Ionic and setup Ionic. All data will still be there.
If problem persists, call Fitbit.
Good Luck.

I'd tried these steps before, with the exception of removing the device on the app, and nothing worked. It's odd because it displays the calories burned and steps I've taken accurately in the app, but won't sync. Anyway, just did the "remove device" and went through these steps 4 times now, with my phone and my tablet, and it seems to find it for a bit then can't connect shortly afterwards.
I guess it's time to call Fitbit.. ugh so frustrating!
Thank you for your suggestion though!!

I am having the same trouble as you. Have tried all of the troubleshooting fixes. Get a temporary fix then goes back to not syncing and losing time. I’ve had both phone and Fitbit since last year and issue has only started this last week. I think it has to be related to their latest software update.

That's what I'm thinking too. Hopefully there's a new update soon that might fix it.
