Ionic stopped tracking data/not working

I noticed an issue a few days ago and now it seems like my ionic is just dead.

First I noticed the green light wasn't on at all, closely followed by my heart rate not being read. My Fitbit would then randomly add a few hours to my sleep during the day when I wasn't wearing the device. When in pairing and pairing it won't work most of the time and factory resets don't wipe the device giving me an error message.  

I tried factory resets and restarts and arts and turning setting on and off and resetting them in between but there's still no heart rate. I just now had an issue with the device not charging but I've managed to get it working. 

I'm a bit at a loss for what to do. I've showered the forums and tried fixes listed and I've run out of things to try.
