Ionic stopped working - feedback about option given

After updating my ionic it has stopped working. All I see is the icon.  I have done all the suggested restarts and fixes with no resolution.  Live chatted with Fitbit and of course I’m just pass my warranty. This is the fabulous resolution from Fitbit.  They will gladly give me 20% off to buy another faulty product.   Fitbit knows this is an issue as I read this forum and it is a universal issue.  They obviously don’t stand behind their product or fix an issue with a update that doesn’t work.  This is the second Fitbit that I have owned and the last one did something similar.  Beginning to wonder if the update sends a signal when your warranty is expired to jack your watch so you have to purchase another one.  So frustrated !!!  These are not cheap to purchase and should last more then a year.  "

@Kt222 Thanks for stopping by. 

 

It is particularly difficult when the device is no longer covered by the warranty, but even tough Support is eager to help with any problem you may experience with the product, they do need to adhere to the official warranty policy, this would start counting from the original date of purchase. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding the quality of Fitbit devices.
