Hi,
As i have read throughout the forms, there are a lot of people having the same problem. My Ionic just stopped working out of the blue.
I tried it all based on the info i found here.
The watch is around 1 year old and maybe still in warranty but i am having doubts i want to go on this road twice by getting a new Ionic.
If i was an isolated case, i would understand, electronics and mechanics can fail but so many people are experiencing the same issue therefore i seriously are having doubts about the quality of the Fitbit Ionic.
1 year is just too fast and Fitbit is not holy, there are enough players on the market that offer activity trackers/watches.
I am just posting this to express my disappointment.

I just woke up this morning and my Ionic is also unresponsive. Last sync was around 1:30am while sleeping. Not happy about this at all.

@rvanuden i had my ionic 2 years with only minor niggles, latest update ruined it. I solved the problem by buying a Garmin cant believe how slick it syncs, was a synch to set up and does everything the ionic did and a little more

I took mine back to Best Buy they got it to boot up but I can’t get it to stay synced with my phone. I have to shut it down and reboot it to get it to sync. Or I have to forget device and re-add the device. It’s extremely frustrating mine device is also just over a year old.

I also had the update, but a few weeks ago.
yesterday during the day it just died on me for no reason.
Just checked it, it is still in warranty, already boxed it to have it send back to the dealer.
But again, i see way too many people having trouble with it.

No i did not,
I have tried every possible solution to get it back to work without succes.
As mentioned, it just died, black screen, not responsive in any way.
It is boxed and ready to be send out since it is still in warranty.

I have loved my Ionic and used it well. However this latest update also killed mine. Not happy about it and I will take the advice of tonupkid and get a Garmin this time. Sorry fitbit 😞

My fitbit stopped also working tonight. Not possible to wake it up again. Just 2 weeks out of warranty. Very disappointing.

You are lucky you can send it back and get a new one. I would love them to push out an update to fix what ever the last release broke. I am dying over here, I have been a long time fan of Fitbit but, this is making me think about switching I can't by new devices every year.
