Ionic stopped working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Yesterday my ionic decided to completely stop counting steps and monitoring my heart rate.  I did a factory reset, reinstalled my music and even did a manual reset after updating.  Still not working.

This might be my last Fitbit.  I had a surge that I replaced twice and now an ionic for less than a year.  Bit much to spend on something that is almost guaranteed not to work.  Hopefully someone can help.

Are you asking for help @Ionicstopped, or just venting?

Have you tried shutting down the Ionic yet?

Wait a half a minute then turn back on by pressing any button.

Did a full factory reset, rebooted everything to my computer and phone.  I have done 3 restarts as well.

@Ionicstopped since you removed the tracker from your account, we are not worried about syncing the Ionic. We need to setup the Ionic as if it was first purchased.

First step is to remove the Ionic from the Bluetooth if your using a phone. .

Now do that add tracker, if it far as we will need to know what device is being used to setup the tracker and at what step the failure accured. Was there an error message?

Thanks for the pointers.  I already spoke to Fitbit customer service and they're replacing it immediately.
I had already reset it, resynced it to my phone and everything.  I think it just took a dump....guess it happens sometimes.
Respectfully Bob
