My tracker died and wont charge when plugged in. I was able to try to do a factory reset but now the watch says data bot cleared sync and try again. But the battery is dead and it wont sync with the phone. Anyone have any tips? It really started acting funny when latest update came out, it never updated (kept crashing) and now this. Ive only had it since last December, seems like its too new to be having issues.

Also i tried cleaning the battery contacts with toothpick as advised here, no luck. 😞

Fitbit offered to send me coupons to replace the device as the solution. Apparently the Ionic just has a short shelf life (pretty pricey for a disposable watch)
This was my third and last Fitbit product I will buy, just not worth the price to have to keep replacing every 1-2 years. Samsung's products are more reliable and they stand behind their merchandise in the event of defects.
