Ionic stopped working

Today the screen stopped responding, despite green sensor light remaining active,  the watch vibrating and the Fitbit app syncing ok. I've tried holding left (back) and riggt bottom buttons down for 10 seconds before letting go. Nothing happens.  Bought for me Christmas 2017.

I bought mine when it first came out.  I used it for less then a year and went back to using my other Fitbit but since I didn't need to use the GPS. Went back in spring to use it and there was no lights it screen. It was plugged in doing this time. Called customer service and because it was out of warranty there was nothing they would do. O quit wearing all my Fitbit s I had. They other day I tried staring it again and nothing. $300 and no help

I read the warranty details thank you. I received my Fitbit as a gift from my husband for Christmas 2017, and 44 days out of warranty it inexplicably stopped working on my wrist. No obvious point of damage. I really liked using that watch, but actually found that in such a short time I hadn't even used it to it's full potential. So I now miss that watch and feel gutted not to have it. But why, having read so many other cases of this happening to others, would I spend that amount of money again, to effectively rent a watch for another 2 years? Something is very wrong in offering me 25% off a replacement when I did nothing wrong, but carefully wear my prized ionic. I am gutted and so disappointed it wasn't built to last! I intend to look for further evidence that others have had the same problem as me and I will seek consumer rights advice. 23% of 2,459 customers gave a 1 (of 5) star review and a further 6% said 2 star on Amazon Uk; citing problems with the watch function and premature failure. So have several customers on Fitbit.com, I can see the pattern and mine is not just an isolated case. I'm not happy at all.Sent from Samsung Mobile on O2
