Ionic stuck in boot up mode

After updating firmware, my Ionic has been rebooting continuously without actually ever starting up. The battery dies, and I charge it. Still won't boot up. EVERYONE: DO NOT UPDATE YOUR FIRMWARE! IT MIGHT KILL YOUR WATCH!!

I am done buying Fitbits. Good bye everyone, it's been a nice being here.

Hopefully things change in the future, but for now, i'm out.

Same here I bought a very nice ionic used on ebay.  Worked fine till I did the factory reset in the settings menu.  Now boot loop flashing logo then flashing battery when battery gets low. Tried everything

Yeah, after I updated it, it wouldn’t count steps. So I factory reset it. That sure was a bad idea. The worse part – Fitbit told me to do it. It is 6 months out of warranty. I would expect a watch for this price to last at least 4 years.
