Ionic sudden death

My Ionic Fitbit died today.  The screen is black no matter what I do.  It was last charged on Friday, was working this morning, and failed by mid-morning.  It is a 5 month old Christmas present. What are my replacement options?

I had an identical occurrence. Similarly tried everything to no avail. If there is a fix to turn it back on, I'd like to know!
