Ionic suddenly won’t charge

I reset my watch yesterday as it was constantly showing the charge %. This remedied the issue, but today when I got back from cycling, having had the ride being captured, I found the charge had gone completely.

I have plugged in to recharge but cannot why any power. My wife has the same watch and hers charges okay using the charger. The watch is only 11 months old.

BTW - I’ve cleaned the back of the watch.

Please can you help?

Have you tried restarting it a few times by pressing and holding the left button and bottom right button together for 15 secs (until you see the fitbit logo)?

Thanks for the idea, but I have no power at all.

Just tried again and held for longer and have the FItnit logo now showing.

Thanks again. I’ll see how it goes now.

I've tried to reset, cleaned the connection, used different cords, different plugs, etc. I feel like I've done everything I can. Nothing works. This Ionic was a 2018 Christmas gift so it is just barely a year old. What is the deal with these Ionics.
