I love the design and feel of this new ionic watch but have issues with it and they cant seem to resolve. It seems the product was rushed out into the market. My blaze didn't exhibit these issues on a daily basis
1. Constantly looking for device - Not syncing properly
2. Sleep reading isn't accurate. How can you have a total of one and half hours of sleep when you sleep from 10:27pm till 6:30am the next day
Oh I love the weather app but would be really ideal and neat if it could be added to the watch face look
Anyone experiencing these issues?

I love the look of the watch on my husband's wrist, much better than the Blaze. Has anyone experienced a rash or skin irritation from wearing it yet?

No rash yet... Skin irritation was only with the surge correct? So far with the ionic I'm fine.

I'm having problems syncing my Ionic. Hasn't synced in almost 24 hours. Only synced once in the 24 hours before that. Have turned watch off and on, turned phone off and on, tried numerous manual syncs. All-day sync is on.

Hi, I'm having problems too!
Steps - I'm getting 400-500 steps at night. When I'm asleep!!!
Also it measures my step at about 12 feet!! (I only walk - no running at 75) and also I have changed measurements to metric.
Everything else seem ok (At the moment)
Syncing - no problem.

I've been having issues lately:
HR doesn't seem to be accurate- it'll say it's 102 while I'm sitting at my desk. Sometimes it won't have a reading at all (maybe the band was too loose) It seems like it'll have a high heart rate and then suddenly plummets back to my resting rate.
Sometimes the app will say "looking" when I try to sync my tracker. I usually have to force stop the app and restart it, then it'll work.
I had the Charge 2 and Blaze before and liked them both. I wanted the waterproofing and music storage, so I upgraded to Ionic but not very impressed right now.

Mine takes hours of attempts to sync tried foregoing and reloading program that’s been syncing with tracker for 7 hours

Just got mine, HR is no where near right, says 91 when I measure it at 50, latest firmware...it’s going back

Agree. Overall I like the watch, but the issues are troubling, particularly given the price. Fitbit was late to the market, and this is not a good step for it. I cannot recommend the watch to others, even though I'd like to. Too many issues- GPS connectivity, sleep reading is completely useless, crashes when try to set an alarm, in Canada there is no wallet, cannot set the weather to Celsius, music is impossible to load, and strava is difficult to use. Other than that, it's fine!

Agree. Fitbit heartrate is not even close to being accurate or useful. Longtime runner with other watches, and I know my heartrate well, but the ionic does not!

You could have written your post especially for me! I have exactly the same experience - what's with alarm function crashing the Ionic all about? I used it for the 1st time last week, and couldn't understand why it would do that (it alarmed me, though ,so in that sense, it does work )
HR is a waste of time - just SO inaccurate, compared to Garmin accuracy anyway.
Strava is pointless - not the brand of course, but this app adds nothing on Ionic.
No wallet in UK either. Given up on music, it's that inaccessible.
On the plus side, I still love the screen quality, and hurrah! - they finally put the battery indicator on the default home screen, but only when it reaches critically low - it's a a start I guess!
Battery life is good, comfort is good, and I've not had you experience with GPS, other than it takes a while to connect, even on a cloudless day like today.
I sometimes wish I waited, esp. with the Misfit Vapor now finally out at a much more sensible price. But I loved my Pebble so much I was tempted to see what Fitbit would do with it. Sadly, the answer is ...not much.

Thanks all. I was going to have my wife buy me one for Christmas, but after reading all of the issues, we had decided to try another brand. This sounds like their “sleep stages” rollout fiasco all over again.

So they finally received my tracker and have acknowleged receipt of delivery. I am now patiently waiting for my replacement beforee 12/15. Hopefully the replacement is a better "batch" -- I will confirm when i receive it and how it worked out if all the "inherent" bugs get resolved in this replacement.
Fitbit, please listen to your customers if you want them (your loyal customers) to stay with you b'cos the experience I had encountered over this few days, I am not sure if they really understand their customer base..

Same thing here so disipointed. Heart rate are issue us simply unacceptable. Who did they pay off to get the darker reviews. I knew there was a problem after a couple hours

I have the ionic, and i'm having issues with it not accurately counting my steps. I can count my steps myself and look at my watch and its not even moving. then next thing i know I go from 100 steps to 109 steps and i know I have walked more than that. I had the blaze and the steps are accurate. I have rebooted the Ionic as of today to see if there is a difference. Has anyone else had this issue?

Hi. Can you please give us an update on your new one? I'm contemplating buying one, but not if it has all these bugs.
