When will the ionic catch up to Apple and allow you to answer phone calls and respond to text messages. Obviously it's impossible with the current ionic as it doesn't have a microphone. I feel for the price of the ionic this should be included and as an android user, the apple watch is not an option!
Please vote on this to help Fitbit recognize the consumers interest in this option!

I too want this feature. I found a bunch of old threads and non offered solutions. Have any third party developers solved this for the ionic? I have a blaze but I want to upgrade... Except not without the text reply function 😞

When I contacted fitbit they just said to suggest it on this forum, so that's what I'm doing hoping more people will too!
I contacted fitbit and they said there is no information out yet as far as that goes. Many other "smart watch" companies offer the option to answer phone calls and reply to text messages. I bought the ionic because a friend thought it was available but it's not, there not even a microphone on it. So I am going to return it. Apple has had that for awhile now so I'm hoping fitbit isn't too far behind. I feel they'd have a much better outcome with the option especially for the prince of $300.

You might want to head over to the Feature Suggestions board and suggest it there.
