Ionic touch screen stopped working

My Ionic touch screen is no longer working.

It started yesterday sometime or possibly the day before. It got stuck on the startup screen (the screen with the fitbit logo). I gave it time thinking that fitbit must have pushed out an update, and it just got stuck. Today, I got tired of waiting so I rebooted it using the left and bottom right button. It restarted, and it was displaying the time, but the touch screen had stopped working, so I couldn't get to any stats, settings, or options. I've now restarted several times. Sometimes it gets stuck on the fitbit logo. Sometimes it displays the time. Currently it's stuck on the logo and won't progress to the time screen anymore. The battery is at 51% according to the app, which sounds about right. When it does get to the screen displaying the time it will sync, but when it's stuck on the logo it won't. I did leave it on while swimming for less than 30 minutes in a shallow pool the other day, but it was working afterward, and it's supposed to be waterproof for much deeper water. Please help. Do not give advice that includes rebooting or go to settings. I've already rebooted repeatedly, and I can't get to settings because, as I said, the touch screen doesn't work.
