I got my Fitbit Ionic a few days ago. It will not sync unless I restart Bluetooth. After several times trying to resync, I get a pop-up with the message:
Bluetooth Issues
If you see this message for the first time, press “Cancel” and try again. If you continue receiving this message, press “Restart Bluetooth” to turn Bluetooth off and on.
Cancel Restart Bluetooth
Once, I click Restart Bluetooth, it usually eventually syncs. How do I get it sync automatically and without this issue?

The phone is a Samsung Galaxy S8.

A warm welcome to the Community @theoii. Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried.
I would like you to try this syncing troubleshooting, and confirm that you have all day sync option on.
I'll be around if you need further assistance.

Thanks Silvia,
I think there may have been interference from other bluetooth devices. I turned bluetooth off on a nearby device and removed an older fitbit from the phone's recognized devices, and reconnected the Ionic. I am not sure what did the trick, but it eventually started syncing automatically.
