My ionic tells me that it’s not connected to my WiFi, when I try to link to my network it tells me it cannot find the network and to move closer to my router, I can not get any closer.
any suggestions please.

Welcome to the Forums @Silchasruin.
I'd like to help you out with your Ionic. I will be moving this thread to the Ionic board as I think it is better suited for it.
In this case I recommend that you try reading through this help article about what could be causing the Ionic to not connect to your Wi-Fi. It should definitely help in figuring out what is going on.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hello @Silchasruin.
My question in this case would be, you are getting two separate signals for the 5g and 2.4g or not? If not, then it could be that the default is the 5g and thus the Ionic will then try to connect to that but be unsuccessful.
Look forward to your reply.

I get a signal for both 2.4 and 5. I have just gone through the procedure with my provider because my all in one printer would not scan because it won't work on 5 gig. its now working correctly so I know im getting two signals.
after carrying out this procedure I tried to connect my Fitbit to my wifi and got the same result. my router hub is only inches away from my watch.

Hello @Silchasruin.
Thanks for letting me know.
In that case, let's try to perform a factory reset on the Ionic and then give it another shot to see if that works .Do keep in mind that after the factory reset you will have to set the Fitbit up again from scratch as if it was a brand new device.
Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions.
