Ionic will not connect via Bluetooth

My ionic suddenly stopped connecting Bluetooth with my Android phone.  I have searched a previous issue back in May, following a firmware update, and it seems to be something similar.  I have forced stop in the app, deleted and re-downloaded the app, turned the Bluetooth on and off on my phone, rebooted my phone.  I have done all of this several times.  When I search for the Ionic on Bluetooth, it doesn't even show up like it doesn't exist.  Please help or advice!  Thanks in advance!

You realize that you do not connect via the bluetooth settings on your phone?

Try going into the app and enabling notifications like calls. That usually causes a BT connection. Otherwise BT is only on when it is syncing so you will not see it connected to your phone.

Maybe I didn't word it correctly. I guess I wasn't aware of what you said
about not seeing it as a Bluetooth available device. However, I un-paired
it from my phone and now it will not pair again. Like, it doesn't
recognize it. There are no options available on the app or maybe they're
not there because it's not paired?
