Ionic will not sync

My ionic is just over a year old, but it will not sync with my iPhone anymore. Yes I have done all the suggested processes of deleting resetting up then I get it to sync and within minutes it starts to loose  time. Then it it will not sync again until I have deleted everything Bluetooth connection and app then reinstall and start again. I’ve even left it turned off for a few days. But still it won’t work. 
Any suggestions other than deleting and reinstalling would be appreciated
