Ionic won't Connect to Fitbit App

I noticed my Ionic wasn't syncing with the app. I did some research and ended up unpairing my Ionic from Bluetooth, deleting the Ionic on the app, and deleting the app, restarting my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone, and reinstalling the app. Now, when I try to set up my device in the app, the app says it has found my Ionic, but it can't connect to it. I am not able to connect my Ionic on my phone's Bluetooth anymore either.

Hi @SunsetRunner, I've had the same issue lately with my Moto e5 Play.  Is there another device that you can go through the setup process again with the Ionic?  You can find a list of devices that have been tested and proven to work here.  Once you have the Ionic set up on the other device, it should transfer over to the phone.

Unfortunately, I don't have another device to set up my Ionic. I only have
my phone and a Macbook Air, which isn't compatible with syncing to Ionic
according to the site you directed me to.

Hi @SunsetRunner, I would try and connect it to the MacBook Air anyway.  I know it's not on the list, but new devices are being tested and added all the time, so just because your MacBook doesn't appear on the list doesn't mean it's not supported.  If you can download the app onto it and play around with the app, then it's supported.

This did not work. According to Fitbit Connect, the app for Macbooks, Ionics are only compatible with the mobile app, but that's still not working.
