Hi There.
Sounds like a common problem with a slight twist. The blue battery light comes on and it gives the battery % indicating it is actively being charged. I have plugged my ionic in to various USB ports and power points via the cable around the house without change.
Please help!

Hello @Hattah, your participation here in the Community Forums is appreciated.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared, your effort troubleshooting your device before posting over here is also appreciated. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Such article includes a restart process which can be really helpful for this situation.
Looking forward to your reply.

Hi There. Yes, heart rate and all other aspects working. Down to 9% now so about to go blank. Have cleaned everything and completed the shutdown etc. It is the cord that came with the watch and there had never been a problem before.

Yes. The heart rate sensor and all other aspects were still functioning. I just couldn’t get it to charge. I still have the same cord that was purchased with the watch and have never used another one.

They hot you with the same "try this" everytime. Like when mobiles ears ago had poor coverage, networks would tell you to clean the sim card other than check the sognal strength in the area.
