I bought a new Ionic a few hours ago and have still not set it up. It originally synced at first, but then it was cut off during upgrade. Now I can't connect via blue tooth or wifi. My guess is that if I can factory reset the watch it will work. Is there a way to factory reset the watch without the app, using the phone's buttons only.

@m_menocal, on the Ionic display scroll to the right until you see the Settings icon. Select Settings then scroll down to About and select Factory Reset.

The problem is that because the setup process did not complete correctly, I cannot access the screen on the device. It's stuck in the splash screen with the diamond splash screen. Is there anyway to get a factory reset just with the buttons, without any menu interaction?

No, there isn't. You can do a restart by pressing the right side bottom button and the left side button at the same time, but not the factory reset.

I heard this problem too. I got it to stay over by removing the device from there mobile app.
