Ionic won’t connect to bluetooth

So I got an ionic about a week ago. As time goes on, it gets less reliable, slower, pauses, and doesn’t connect for my information. 

Getting really frustrated, I started reading this forum and the final option was to “remove” the ionic from my account. Well now when I try to set it up agai, it will not connect. I enter the 4 digit during the setup and it just runs from there never connecting. Literally 4.5 hours later and it’s STILL connecting to Fitbit..... for $300, this thing is terrible for connectivity.... please help!
