I have a Huawei Honor 6x and, a few weeks ago, my Ionic stopped syncing. I am trying to do a hard reset following the instructions however the hard reset does not work. I have removed my Ionic from the app however now when I try to add the Ionic to the Fitbit app, it can't find it. I have Bluetooth turned on etc.

@dara_mcgettrick now you see why it is never suggested to remove a non syncing tracker from the Fitbit account. Removing a tracker from the app simply tells Fitbit that this tracker is not going to be used anymore.
We need to fix the sync problem before we can set the tracker up again.
BTW a hard reset is down through the Shutdown command found under settings. the two button restart is a soft restart .
Let's do a shutdown and startup of the ionic.
Remove the ionic from the phones Bluetooth settings
Swipe unneeded apps out if memory.
Clear the cache of the Fitbit app
Through the play store make sure the Fitbit app is up to date.
Restart the phone.
Let's try the setup again

Go into your phone settings and then into your app settings (on mine it's called "Device Maintenance"). Then find the Fitbit app and select "Force Stop".

That will work depending on the Android version.
