Ionic won't notify me when receiving a message

My ionic usually vibrates when receiving a notification but the past few days I realized it hasn't been vibrating. I troubleshoot the notifications following the guidelines that fitbit posted but I still could not get it to work. 

I have a Samsung s5

Does your ionic receive the notification. but does not vibrate? 

Have you trirdta restart or a shutdown of the ionic, 

How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Troubleshoot a problematic device by turning it off and then back on.
