Ionic won't respond

My ionic was fully charged then suddenly went blank.  I have tried all the regular resets, charges, cleaning contacts, etc.  I know the charging cable is good because we just got it last week as a replacement for my wife's.  I have read the forums and it appears this is a common concern with the ionic, which is a shame because I liked this tracker.  

As a side note, in January my wife's ionic (which was purchased at the same time) shorted out.  

Any other suggestions?

Same thing happened to me. I have been promised a replacement but have been waiting for over 4 months. Apparently my iconic was out of stock at the time. My case hase been moved to the escalation team but they have been waiting for over 2 weeks from the orders department so I am none the wiser as to when I will recieve a replacement. Same problem happened to a colleague who also had an iconic under warranty. They received replacement but the screen stopped working again shortly afterwards. They have now given up on Fitbit.
