Feedback about Ionic - My experience

As it says. It now only lasts 2 days. I've done everything I can think of and gone through the debug processes and reset everything and uninstalled the app and still nothing. I'm done with Fitbit, I have gone through 4-5 Ionics in 5 years, for that price and that kind of build quality, I'm just better off switching to the apple watch. Which is a shame, because I really really really liked Fitbit, I bought stock in the company back in the day, and I held onto that stock when Google bought it, and I was optimistic that the build quality would improve, but it didn't. It was bought for data. I loved the 6-day battery life, but that means nothing if I'm always buying a new Fitbit or getting a replacement. I had to get 3 Fitbit surge replacements because of just trash build quality, I've stuck by this product because I genuinely appreciated the fitness focus and the long battery time, and had little care for the notifications, emails. I liked that I could get phone call notifications on my wrist because I couldn't feel it vibrate in my pocket.

Jason thanks for your post! I thought it was me alone. I was getting a solid 6 days of battery life as well until I updated my Iconic with the most recent update and my battery is less than 30 minutes.  From 100% to 0% is literally 20 minutes.  This is so frustrating, but like you I love Fitbit and this is my forth Fitbit and I feel some sense of loyalty to the brand but I am now exploring other options.
