Ionic won't sync - gathering dust

Hello all. I had an Ionic for Xmas and, as with many other people, it stopped syncing a few weeks ago. I've tried everything suggested on the forums but it still won't sync. So now it's basically got the wrong time and date and is as useful as a chocolate teapot .I got it from the official Fitbit shop but as it's over 45 days old the website says that I can't return it. What can I do?

I have a OnePlus 5T running Android if that helps.

(I swapped my perfectly good Garmin for this!)

Thanks in advance

Have Fitbit send you a new one, 1 yr warranty.

After a few mails back and forth with Fitbit support this is their outcome:-

"We want to make this process as easy and smooth as we can according to our procedures. For this reason, we're not able to proceed with a replacement or a refund, since your device is not fully tested, and we accept returns for 45 days from the date of purchase.

We appreciate your understanding in this matter. Don't hesitate to contact us back for any other inquiry you may have".

Basically they don't support my phone (OnePlus 5T) even though it worked fine for 3-4 months before an update so refuse to help.

Anyone want to buy an Ionic?! Lol

An update on my case - I had to try syncing on somebody else's phone (that was on the list of supported devices) and unfortunately for me it synced ok. So in summary I'm stuck with a watch that I can't use so am forced to sell it and go back to Garmin. Hey ho. It worked for 6 weeks until they updated something.

That is an absolute disgrace, I fear this watch could ruin the Fitbit brand, they are not helping themselves at all when dealing with the many issues this watch is throwing up.
