Yesterday my Ionic stopped working. Searched this forum and tried to factory reset technique of pressing all three buttons and it hasn’t worked. The screen is blank, I get no vibration and there is nothing indicating it’s working at all. This is the same thing that happened to my last Fitbit and it’s a bit frustrating. Anything else I can do?

Hi @Sargeru93, welcome to the Community Forums.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Such article includes a restart process which can be really helpful for this situation
Looking forward to your reply.

Hi Ricardo. When the Fitbit first went blank the green lights on the back did blink intermittently, but after trying to do the reset th lights are no longer flashing and the watch is simply unresponsive. I had NOT had any problems with battery drain either...it just blacked out on me - one minute it worked, the next it didn’t

Out of the blue this morning the screen is on, but I’m getting the following message: Data not cleared, sync and try again.
but I can’t get the watch to sync to the app

Thanks for your replies @Sargeru93 and the details that were shared with me.
Let me share with you that your Ionic is showing such error message because the firmware update process wasn't successfully completed. That said, I recommend you to learn more about how to update the firmware version of your Fitbit device with the information that's specified on this help article. Then, please move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I update my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
Please keep me posted.

This has happened to my Ionic twice now. The first time I figured it was broken and was out of warranty so I purchased a new one and now it has happened again to this one
