Ionic wont start after reboot

After 4 months of seamless use my Ionic stopped syncing with my phone (Galaxy S7) so I tried to restart it using the Left button and bottom Right button but this did not fix the sync issue so I did a reset from the settings menu. My Ionic now shows the Fitbit logo for about 5 seconds then a blank screen then Fitbit logo again. I have tried pressing all three buttons then releasing the bottom Left button as described by others on this site but my Ionic does not respond to this either. Help please.

Hi Peter. I have the same problem. Has your concern been resolved? I have only started using my Ionic for 2 months and then yesterday I noticed that the time was not right (1 hr behind), later in the afternoon it was 2hrs behind! So last night I did a hard reset after fully charging my watch. But after the reset, up to now (8hrs aftr I had my sleep), I woke up with the screen still flashing the fitbit logo on and off (with about 5seconds apart).

I noticed your message was glass since march of last year. I wonder if there have developments on your part.

Welcome to the club, there is an epidemic of Ionics bricking. Just look at all the posts on this forum detailing the same issue countless times.

I know! I just realized. Also the weak support. I don't see a hotline chatroom to immediately get a response from - yet fitbit gets you into a lifestyle with it, that you can't seem to move without. Its very frustrating.

I bought a Polar 400M series and it did well despite not being a smartwatch-type. Bought it 2015 and up to now has no problems and my son is using it. But ionic is like 2 MONTHS!!! Get real!

I am very disappointed FITBIT. This was my first investment into your product. Should I say your marketing team did good with the hype. But your product team is lousy. 😡
