I've been with Fitibit since the Charge HR, Charge 2, and now the Ionic. But I think it's time I've moved on to a company that supports their customer. I wanted to like the Ionic and for the most part it's ok. What I don't like is having to set the automatic interval EACH time I start a run, or having the GPS turn back on randomly even though I have turned it off. The Ionic has been out since Oct. 2017 and this issue is still around. When posted in the forum I get a canned response from the moderator.
"We’re aware of it, but may not be able to provide a fix in the immediate future...For now, you will need to change your settings at the beginning of the exercise."
SERIOUSLY? EACH TIME I RUN? You want me to go through the menu each time I start a run?? That's not right. How hard is it to save someone's settings? Does Fitbit even care? This is something I can't deal with and looking for a replacement. For those that have used another device, what do you recommend?
