Upgraded my ionic at weekend and noticed graphics starting to fade. Then tried a reset and now the device will not turn at all. It's fully charged and I've tried all the button combinations from previous threads. Is it dead after less than 2 years? Is there any way of saving it? I am so annoyed, these are not inexpensive watches and I expect it to last more than 2 years. Can someone help me please?

I just faced the same problem and had posted up in forum to alert fellow users.. Have you try charging it to boot up?

My Iconic is dead too . Charging of pressing buttons doesn’t help. All of this after firmware update. Is there still hope?

I think we all should register our case to make ourselves heard and help other fellow users be aware too. Or at least fitbit to withdraw the update

I came across a fitbit user saying to press all 3 buttons to start up. I had done so successfully too

This is very frustrating and unacceptable for a €250 watch that is less than 2 years old. Fitbit is an an intelligent corporation that surely has the resources to invest in appropriate technology and hardware. Perhaps too focussed on the upcoming M&A to focus on customers and products. This watch was working fine and is now dead. Surely there has to be a fix

I would absolutely join that action. A €250 watch should not die within 2 years. I have a Suunto Ambit thats 5 years old and still works perfectly. I will never buy another fitbit again. This company needs to focus on cutomers and products and fixing issues rather than selling its interests to Google.

Thanks James. Unfortunately the 3 buttons isn't working for me. Time for a new watch I think (but not a Fitbit!)

Well.. Just get a free replacement from them nevertheless and sell it away.. Do yourself a favour and earn some bucks for yourself. Sigh. I am also planning to switch to other brand when my ionic call it a day

Having the same problem. Did the upgrade yesterday, this morning it wouldn’t sync, did a reset. Then no way to restart the watch and it acts like it doesn’t now recognize the charger - completely dead and no way to turn it on, including trying the 3 button suggestion. Will be contacting Fitbit!

Thanks for all the suggestions. Unfortunately none have worked so far. I did contact fitbit and it seems I am still within warranty....barely. so they will send a replacement. Hopefully that will last longer!
