Upgraded my ionic at weekend and noticed graphics starting to fade. Then tried a reset and now the device will not turn at all. It's fully charged and I've tried all the button combinations from previous threads. Is it dead after less than 2 years? Is there any way of saving it? I am so annoyed, these are not inexpensive watches and I expect it to last more than 2 years. Can someone help me please?
Best AnswerThis is very frustrating and unacceptable for a €250 watch that is less than 2 years old. Fitbit is an an intelligent corporation that surely has the resources to invest in appropriate technology and hardware. Perhaps too focussed on the upcoming M&A to focus on customers and products. This watch was working fine and is now dead. Surely there has to be a fix
Best AnswerI would absolutely join that action. A €250 watch should not die within 2 years. I have a Suunto Ambit thats 5 years old and still works perfectly. I will never buy another fitbit again. This company needs to focus on cutomers and products and fixing issues rather than selling its interests to Google.
Best AnswerSorry to hear that. Hope you have replacement
Best AnswerThanks James. Unfortunately the 3 buttons isn't working for me. Time for a new watch I think (but not a Fitbit!)
Best AnswerWell.. Just get a free replacement from them nevertheless and sell it away.. Do yourself a favour and earn some bucks for yourself. Sigh. I am also planning to switch to other brand when my ionic call it a day
Best AnswerHaving the same problem. Did the upgrade yesterday, this morning it wouldn’t sync, did a reset. Then no way to restart the watch and it acts like it doesn’t now recognize the charger - completely dead and no way to turn it on, including trying the 3 button suggestion. Will be contacting Fitbit!
