My Fitbit ionic is telling me to download the app when I already have it. That all it keeps telling me to do.

If the Ionic is showing the fitbit.com/setup message then it means that it has somehow become disconnected from your account and it will need to go through the setup process again in order to reconnect it.

 

On the main dashboard page of the app, select your profile image at the top left and then select "set up a device".
