Is there a way to have my Ionic as a slice in the iPhone Health App.  My new elliptical will feed the app but I cannot get heart rate data without connection to the Fitbit?

suggestions?

@SnareWifu I don't think so, because Fitbit is a semi-closed eco-system with respect to:

- heart rate

- GPS

and you can't export a workout with heart rate, unless its been tracked with GPS.

I believe it might be possible if you can get Fitbit to export to Strava. However I think Fitbit's Strava sync only works for walks, hikes, runs, and cycling.

I use Strava for syncing my Garmin bike computer rides to Health. That works, and why I believe it might be possible if you can get Fitbit to sync it to Strava. If tracking elliptical (with GPS on) on your Ionic doesn't sync to Strava, then try tracking the elliptical session as a bike ride on your Ionic. Then Fitbit will send it to Strava, and in Strava you can change it to elliptical.

Once you have a Strava account, use the Fitbit link below to allow Fitbit to sync activities to Strava:

Hope that helps.
