At this moment if someone decide to buy your device in russia, let me explain my expirience:
-After i buy an Ionic clock I found out that fitbit app not available in play store for my cuntry
-Then after using mirror i finnaly get this app and try to connect my card to fitbit pay, what a surprise fitbit doesn't have any partnership with russian banks and google wallet too
-I guess not support russian is a little bit okey.
And my question is why when i am talk with my cooworker about that problems he tells me that he has Garmin clocks and they work fine - Support banks, no problems with app...?
I am just wondering, are you carefully triing to avoid russian customers?
If not, could please provide some plans or estimations about fixing that problems. And please, don't redirect me voting forum, you know that there is enough persons that already buy you stuff in russia and many others still w8 until you completely support Russia in you enviroment.
Thanks.
And sorry I just feel terrible after spend one day of pain trying configure my new purchase.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @noOby! I'll be glad to assist you with your Fitbit inquiry.
I really appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Please note that are several factors that influence availability of a certain app in a determined country and our team appreciates your feedback. Take in consideration that many of our members have been able to download the Fitbit app for Android by creating a Gmail account associated with a country where the Fitbit app is available.
Thank you for your assistance @Odyssey13!
Let me know how it goes.

Hello, thank you, but my point was, that actually it's a little bit tricky and strange that for using yours divaces in Russia i has to create some fake gmail with fake number for country where it's app available and it's still didn't provide any information about nfc payment avalability in future.
My point was about, ask you to clarify you plans about supporting Russia in you enviroments and get some transparent estimation like we planning to allow downlowd our app in my country in this year or we haven't got any plan for Russia at all.
I understand flow with fake number and additional acounts for devices from Ali and hope that other companies with another prices and policies would try to improove expirience to comfortable level)

Hi Andrea!
Can you explain me how can I do this: "to download the Fitbit app for Android by creating a Gmail account associated with a country where the Fitbit app is available"?

Thank you for your quick reply, Andrea!
I already managed to install the Fitbit app and set up my new Charge 4.
But I still find it very unpleasantly that Fitbit tries to ban users in Russia from being able to install the Fitbit app in a normal way.
It's also very awkward that the new Charge 4 can't be set up with the Fitbit app for Windows 10 - only with a mobile phone app, and yet only with quite a modern phone running Android 7 and newer. For example I chose the Charge 4 because of GPS on board, specially to be able to leave my phone at home when I'm running. So I don't needed the phone app at all, since I prefer to manage my fitness tracks on my laptop when I'm back home. But Fitbit forced me to hire an appropriate phone from a friend just to install Fitbit app, and this just to do once the initial setup of my Charge 4 - since it doesn't work with the Window 10 app. Awkward, very strange!
