Hello, really need some help please. My Ionic has been stuck with the logo on the screen for weeks now.
I've tried the reset with 3 buttons, 2 buttons, and let it die. I've deleted my settings and tried to reconnect.
Everytime it powers back on its stuck on the log .
Help pleas .
Moderator Edit: Clarified subject
I, too, am experiencing this. My Ionic was working fine, but at low battery. While in the water, it shut down. When I got out of the water, I was able to restart and the battery was at 17%. I put it on the charger, the watch said it was charging. I came back a few hours later, the watch was quite warm and I cannot get it to shut off/restart. It only displays the Fitbit logo and my app cannot find my device.
Best AnswerI also tried the factory reset, but it did not work. I am currently trying to charge the device, but that does not seem to be working. The green lights for the heart rate monitor are not on and have not been on since this started happening.
Best AnswerSame problem here, was stuck on boot logo.
It's them, not us 🙂
I've managed to get some control over it by removing the Ionic from the Fitbit app account and Bluetooth connection , hard reset (the left and low right button) and reassociating it.
Still the sync is chaotic and it sometimes stucks to boot logo but now it seems to be coming back to operation by itself
Best AnswerNope, it's not under control, after the last sync it went back into boot loop and, a few minutes later, though the battery was around 25% at the last sync, it simply died, displaying 0%
Something awful wrong here.
Yes, I've managed to resurrect it for a second time, but something is awfully wrong in the server - app - firmware area, as it won't register the device completely on the Fitbit account. I do expect to see the boot loop again....
Best AnswerToday I got the watch screen back and it is charging. The moisture I thought I saw is now gone, but that means it is no longer “swim-proof.” I ordered another because who knows how long this status will last!
Best AnswerAnd... now the touch screen doesn’t work and the logo is back. Bummed.
Best AnswerYes, the watch stays on the clock face and the touchscreen is disabled. However, it didn't went back to the boot loop and it did record my sleep.
Best AnswerMine looks stable now, customer service walked me through reset (2 buttons) hard reset (3 buttons) and reconnect to account.
It was stable ever since.
Best AnswerWish I was that lucky! Hard nor soft resets operable.
I’ve owned many Fitbit devices and given all of them to family when I upgrade. This is the first to really malfunction so soon. 😢
Best AnswerTry first deleting it from your Fitbit account, in the app.
Then hard reset plus factory reset; if this gets it through, delete the app, restart phone, reinstall app and add device
